Fiberinthebox Tight-Buffered Indoor/Outdoor Rugged Drop Cable is indoor/outdoor cable designed for lashed aerial, direct buried, duct, and general purpose horizontal/ve ical riser application. The cable consists of a single bend-insensitive fiber tight-buffered with a jacket, surrounded by dielectric strength members and an outer flame-retardant jacket. Its tight-buffered construction facilitates easier termination for low-fiber-count applications in the local area network (LAN) and eliminates need for fan-out kits. This rugged drop cable can be bent to a minimum bend-radius of 5mm and be directly stapled to wall studs and rafters with standard cable stapes and hardware-store variety staple guns. The small diameter and bend radius of the cable allow for easy installation that the installer can recognize savings from the lower costs of terminating tight buffered cables.
