The 48 fibers Single-mode Plenum Unitized Tight-Buffered Indoor Cables from Fiberinthebox are available for all inter and intra-building cables. The interlocked armor design uses a spiral wrapped interlocking metal tape for superior crush resistance while ensuring maximum flexibility, also one-step installation and over seven times the crush protection of unarmored cables. Cables utilizing this armor option are ideally suited for routing inside plenum areas or in riser shafts. They use individually jacketed buffered fibers enabling easy, consistent stripping and facilitating termination. The fibers are grouped into jacketed subunits and surrounded by a dielectric central member. With a flame-retardant outer jacket, this cable is pa icularly useful for heavy traffic or more challenging mechanical exposure conditions.
